Beauty Jobs in Hertfordshire & Essex area? - how to write a beauty salon letter

I have a BTEC 2 years in the beauty treatment in 06 June and now I am a 1 course in hairdressing when I was in hair and beauty specalise. Beauty is still unknown, I notice that the hair is not really for me and I want to be a stylist, but no jobs in my area, and the problem that they want or need at least 3 years experience in the BC university graduates is not only what should I do? I write letters to salons and see if I can do? In my hair is still on course to end really, but it is really a good idea?
