Just bought off eBay, 2 probs, one can get one of the speakers work, and thus blocked the other red with red, black to black and working. The other has a red cable and speaker black, but gray and black terminal hi back, tried both methods can not go to work.
I have also in the disc, 5-disc changer, all orginials, no copies, and said no disc after passing the plate 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
I have the seller, but some advice appreciate it. Thank you.

The President - perhaps an internal connection is destroyed or damaged or a corrupted driver or not an intersection.
The CD player - laser head collected.
This probably went on sale first.
The seller has used to help, if perhaps a failure, what is the risk of eBay ...
try wiring the speakers, open and detection of possible connections + / - and control amp.
Make nice new, clean cable ends and connectors are inserted in high fidelity.
Try the speakers with another amp to test, and vice versa, explore all the possibilities.
